Art That Inspires Me- Mark Ryden

I find Mark Rydens art to be of great inspiration, especially his paintings from The Tree Show. One of my favourites in the pop surrealist field. He possesses masterful technique and wit. Each painting is so rich and vibrant, full of colour and symbolism. Dewy vixens, cuddly plush animals, alchemical symbols, religious emblems, landscapes, Lincoln and slabs of meat are reoccurring elements in his work.He is definitely one to check out.

His little girls and their 50's style outfits are just too cute

Rhonddas's Holiday

Another beautiful antique book to add to my collection. I am quite certain that this one is the oldest that I have. There is a date hand written inside the cover saying that it was given to Fanny on 9-12-1910.

For Ever And A Day

This is a set of 4 handpainted coasters that I made for my mums birthday present.

Swap Cards

Swap cards are one of the many things that I collect.
They are wonderful little treasures.

This set of 4 are among my favourites.
